Comparisons between Mnoclonal, Polyclonal and Recombinant antibodies and their benefits: Regular monoclonal antibodies have higher purity, better specificity and less lot-to-lot variations than polyclonal antibodies. Recombinant antibodies, however, are even superior to the normal monoclonal antibodies in terms of purity and specificity and the batch-to-batch variation is virtually nonexistant.
